The HQA Vice-President for Accreditation Affairs Prof. V. Tsiantos and the Director-General Dr. Ch. Besta will represent the HQA at the 9th ENQA Members' Forum to take place from 24 to 26 April 2019 in Tallinn, Estonia, hosted by the Estonian Quality Agency for Higher and Vocational Education (EKKA).

The President of HQA will attend the 2019 Balkan Universities Association (BUA) conference on “Implementation of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals in the Balkan Region: The Role of the Universities” organised by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from 16 to 18 April 2019.

Mr. Kyprianos with his Turkish counterpart will take part in the Workshop on “Quality Assurance in Higher Education”.

On Thursday 11 April 2019, the President of the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA), Professor Mery Koutselini, will visit the premises of HQA to meet with the President and Council members and discuss issues of cooperation between the two Agencies and the developments in higher education.

On Friday, April 4, 2019, the President of the HQA Professor Pantelis Kyprianos will visit the Democritus University of Thrace. He will meet with the University Rectorate and Department Heads.

On Monday, April 8, 2019, the Minister of Education Kostas Gavroglu will visit the Agency’s premises to talk with the staff and the HQA Council members about higher education.
